I was a little lost as to where to start with my 9 year old, as there are so many options for online chess. But the owner was clear from the get go, setting out how they would match a tutor. Enter his tutor, who's been highly inspiring, knowledgeable and above all creating great chemistry which makes lessons go smoothly! Already recommended it to my friends. Keep it up!

We're an online academy that offers private 1-1 chess lessons. Since 2018, we've taught almost a 1000 kids across the United States!
Lessons happen live over Zoom. Your child connects 1-on-1 with their coach, shares a digital chessboard in real time, and learns through interactive teaching, game analysis, and hands-on practice. It’s simple to set up, and parents don’t need to stay on the call — we handle everything.
This is best-suited for kids ages 5–16. We work with beginners and seasoned competitors alike. Whatever your child's level, we meet them where they are with our fully customized lessons.
You’ll have a quick Zoom call with one of our specialists to test out if working with MyChessTutor is right for you and to get your questions answered.
We'll also do a fun chess evaluation with your child using an interactive chess board.
